Institutional event · Madrid
One musical identity.
Distinct settings.

Sociedad Española de Oftalmología
The approach.
Three occasions within one congress, and a brief that called for a distinctive musical identity. The organisers asked us to arrange the chotis “Madrid” for the opening, in front of more than 1,000 attendees. From that first piece, we coordinated the music for the opening, the welcome reception and the closing event at the Museo del Prado.
An opening created for the occasion
We created the score and the arrangement for string trio, bringing a recognisable reference to Madrid into an institutional event through a performance tailored to that point in the programme.
A different rhythm for the reception
For the reception, we changed the register: contemporary string arrangements, a different stage aesthetic and a programme that accompanied conversation. A consistent musical approach connected the occasions, while each retained its own atmosphere.
The closing event at the Prado
A string quartet accompanied the closing event at the Museo del Prado. Our role covered advice, performer selection, musical preparation and coordination of the performances across the congress.
- Custom arrangement and score of the chotis “Madrid”
- String trio at the opening
- Contemporary arrangements and a change of attire for the reception
- String quartet for the closing event at the Museo del Prado

“On behalf of the organisers of the 100th SEO congress, we would like to congratulate Enlace Musical on their outstanding performance at the opening before more than 1,000 people, the welcome reception and the closing event at the Museo del Prado.”
